All of our programs have been developed by Dr. Felicia Gomez, founder and owner of Pinnacle Training Systems. Dr. Gomez has her Ph.D. in Exercise Metabolism and Nutrition, teaches at the university level, and is a former professional cyclist. She continues to run competitively and has completed many half marathons, duathlons and other races in the past year.
"GROUP" Training?
Don't let the term "group training" throw you. Pinnacle Training Systems doesn't put you into a "one size fits all" running group to help you reach the finish line. Our programs are scientifically put together so that each and every runner can progress at his or her own pace. The group atmosphere provides excellent accountability and gives the runner a great opportunity to meet people and make some new friends, but the program itself is based on the scientific principle that each athlete is different.
Individualized Group Training
Why does PTS not have a "one size fits all" group program? In any given running group that runs in a pack, you will be sure to find runners who are running too fast for their own good as well as runners who are being held back for the sake of the group. Only a few runners in the pack are actually going at the pace and intensity level that is optimal for their personal training. We want you to experience the success that only good science can bring you - the same science that goes behind every world class marathoner's training plan.


















Level 1
Online training program for the athlete to follow on his or her own. This is best for the independent athlete who desires a scientifically based, structured training program. This package also includes podcasts of the educational seminars.
$75 per person
Level 2
Athletes receive an online training program in addition to a professional level account on TrainingPeaks, provided by PTS. This allows the athletes to upload their daily workout for weekly feedback from a PTS running coach. This program is designed for the athlete who desires a scientifically based, structured program with accountability and personal coaching to answer questions and provide support. This package also include podcasts of the educational seminars.

"After being "retired" from running and triathlon for many years and then suffering a debilitating work injury last year just before the Half Marathon, I decided to look for a training program for this year's race.
